Once registered you can add images via the photopress plugin  (Small icon on the top right of the posting box) html image tags from your own hosting or the built in wordpress image upload below the posting box. The image galleries on the right hand side under the navigation tab can only be used by administrators so maybe they’d be useful for jams.

The tagboard might be useful for casual conversation (Like a chatroom)  while feedback to artists should go in comments.

Commenting does not require registration, only posting does

You can use the “more” tag to hide images below a cut, like in livejournal (See this post for an example) this is a good way to hide a hardcore image you don’t want to show without warning
Categories aren’t filled yet, but once they are it should be easy to sort posts by them, feel free to suggest categories, the more the merrier – in fact I just added a bunch right now, moderators should be able to add them on the fly
